Tomorrowland Thailand – Anreise & Transport

How to Get to Tomorrowland Thailand

Tomorrowland Thailand takes place at Wisdom Valley, Chonburi – about 90 minutes southeast of Bangkok.
Whether you’re arriving from overseas or traveling within Thailand, there are many convenient ways to reach the festival.

Arriving in Thailand

International visitors will most likely arrive at Suvarnabhumi International Airport (BKK) or Don Mueang Airport (DMK), both serving direct connections from around the world.

From either airport, you can easily continue your journey to Chonburi or Pattaya via taxi, shuttle, bus, or private transfer.

Tip: December is Thailand’s high travel season — book flights early for the best rates and availability.

From Bangkok to the Festival Grounds

There are several ways to travel from Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) to Pattaya, where the magic of Tomorrowland awaits:

Bolt or Grab: Fast, easy, and cashless. Order your ride straight from the arrivals area. Bolt is usually the cheaper option (around THB 900–1,000), while Grab offers slightly higher prices but more driver availability and reliability.

Private Transfer: The most comfortable and stress-free choice — perfect if you’re traveling with friends or lots of luggage. Your driver meets you right at the terminal and takes you directly to your hotel or the festival grounds. Expect around THB 1,400–2,000 depending on the vehicle.

Airport Taxi: Official taxis are available on the ground floor near Gate 4. The ride takes about two hours and costs roughly THB 1,400–1,800 including tolls. Always confirm that the meter is on or agree on a fixed fare.

Bus: The budget-friendly option (THB 140–200). Buses run regularly from Suvarnabhumi’s Transport Center to Pattaya and take about 2–2.5 hours. Great if you’re not in a rush and want to travel local-style.

Train: For those who enjoy a scenic journey, trains from Bangkok’s Hua Lamphong Station or the new Bang Sue Grand Station head to Pattaya several times a day. Fares range from THB 30–150 depending on the class — slower than driving, but a cool experience if you’ve got time to spare.

Tip: If you’re staying in Pattaya, check whether your hotel or Tomorrowland package includes a shuttle service to the festival grounds — it’s the easiest way to arrive in full festival mode!

Local Transportation

Once you arrive near the festival grounds, getting around is easy and affordable:

Local Taxis & Songthaews: Songthaews (shared pickup trucks) are the classic Thai way to move around Pattaya. They run fixed routes and usually cost just a few baht. For more direct rides, local taxis are available almost everywhere — just make sure to agree on a price before hopping in.

Motorcycle Taxis: Perfect for short trips or when traffic gets heavy. You’ll find them on almost every corner, wearing colorful vests with numbers.

Grab & Bolt: Both apps operate in Pattaya and Chonburi, offering air-conditioned comfort and transparent, set fares. Great for traveling between hotels, beaches, or the festival site without hassle.

Tip: Keep some small Thai Baht notes handy — many local drivers and food stalls don’t accept cards or change large bills.

Travel Tips for a Smooth Journey

Visa Check: Make sure you know whether you need a visa to enter Thailand before your trip.

Power Up: Bring a universal power adapter so your devices stay charged throughout the festival.

Apps to Have: Download Grab and Google Maps — essential for easy navigation and finding rides.

Stay Comfortable: Keep hydrated and wear light, breathable clothing to handle Thailand’s warm weather.

Tip: Packing a small reusable water bottle can save you time and keep you refreshed while exploring Pattaya and the festival grounds.

Extend Your Stay

Make the most of your trip by exploring Thailand’s vibrant culture before or after the festival.
Visit Bangkok’s night markets, Pattaya’s beaches, or the Temples of Ayutthaya — all within a few hours’ reach.

Tip: Plan a day trip or overnight stay to experience these highlights without feeling rushed — perfect for combining festival fun with unforgettable travel memories.
